Porpoise Hork is on a distinguished road
Default K8T800Pro running 64bit vista known issues?

I searched but couldn't find any recent info on this. so here it goes...

First let me point out that I currently own a MSI K8N nforce3 chipset board.. and Nvidia has copped out claiming that the board wont supprt dual cores in vista when it clearly supports them in XP. yeah ok what ever..(last time I own an nvidia product) I found a place that has the asus A8V-X K8T800Pro chipset board that looks to me that it will support vista. all the posts i found about this chipset say vista 64bit drivers are available for it. but are there any known issues?

I ask this cause I dont want to but the board only to find out it wont fully work with vista as well. such as having to disable one of the cpu cores, and only getting 4x agp not 8x. I really dont want to spend over 500 bucks just so i can run vista.

current specs
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 939(o.c. 4400+)
MSI K8N Neo2 platinum
2 gigs OCZ platinum DDR400 (2 sticks)
ATI X850XT PE 256
Sound Blaster 2 Audigy
DiamondMax Plus9 160 gig(sata)
Segate IDE (storage drive)
Corsair TX750w power supply

thanks in advance
