Default Is it worth switching back

Around christmas i bought a laptop that came preloaded with vista home basic i gave it a few weeks but when it wouldnt run any of my favorite programs includeing a 400$ video editing program i got real angry and i wiped the hard drive and put XP pro corp on it instead and jerry riged some drivers from other laptop modles for it as there are absolutly none avaliable for it in XP sincse it was designed with only vista in mind not XP and i was wondering if it would be worth it to put vista back on it

AMD Athalon 64 X 2
Dule-Core Processor TK-53

If you cant run the programs you want then what would be the point of doing it again??

Vista will pick up a lot of the drivers, plus also now that SP1 is out it should be all the better. Also you can go to Toshiba's web site and probably get updated drivers from there.
