Default question

Is it true that Vista needs a full time internet connection or it will stop working properly? I thought I read this somewhere. We just got a new Vista pc and as of now it is not on the internet at all.

Just wondering if I read this correctly.

Hehe....... I am sure this is not true.I have deactivated my vista updates; which mean to vista,i dont have internet.(Even though i have) for a long time and still it work fine..............What people want to tell u may be; because Vista is new in town and some programs are not running well.......on it; its always good to have internet so that through the vista updates, they may be solved.........But one does not need internal for vista to run. The kennel of vista is on your hard drive not on the internet. So feel free to use ur pc.good luck
