The 7600Gt only has 12 pixel pipelines as opposed to the 24 that my card has, also 7600GT's tend to only sport 256mb of 128 bit GDDR3, I have 512mb of 256 bit GDDR3, I could be wrong but I feel confident in my cards ability to see off the 7600GT.

Yeah, the 7800GS with 24 pipes actually uses the 7900GT core but has to be calld a 7800GS for legal reasons. Much faster.

VIA PT880 Screen corruption in Vista
At the risk of this thread going even more off topic, my 7800GS+ gets
with Intel E4400 C2D - 5591 in 3DMark06
with AMD64 3700+ s754 - 4743 in 3DMark06 (can't get link due to Futuremark ORB limitation),
which isn't bad for a 7800 AGP card, clocked at 580MHz core / 1430MHz memory.

Congratulations you're able to copy and paste, unfortunately due to the fact that your unable to read your information is irrelevant. Those benchmarks are for a 16 pipe 7800 mine has 24 pipes, it also has 512mb of ram instead of the 256mb the card you have posted has, also my GPU core is a 7900GT not a 7800, as I have already said this before in previous posts I can only conclude that you have issues with reading. Please try and read my posts properly before replying to avoid further embarrassment.

Yup it has wandered a bit of topic it has to be said, I managed to squeeze 5599 out of mine but at a slightly lower clock speed. And I'd say its pretty nice for an AGP card and absolutely destroys the 7600 scores that T@2 posted.

Yes, that was my intention to protect the good image of the little 7800GS+ card

LOL.My post is just what it is nothing more. The scores are for 2 identifyble top agp video cards from Leadtek, and as u can see all needed informations are in the post.U can see the superiority of the G73 against G71,G73 behaving better with fewer pipelines.Gainward made a 7900 GS for agp ,dont confuse 7800 gs with 7900GS ,the 7800 has 16 pipes for pixel with clocks lower or higher depending of the vendor.7800 GS is 7800 GS, 7900GS is 7900GS.I m sorry ,i didn t know i cant post, and i m very sorry i cant read like u do,and please tell us your video card full name,i m very curious.

I could post scores for 2 identifiable cars but they'd be about as relevant here as the scores you have posted. As I have now said multiple times my card uses 24 pixel pipelines, not the 16 found on a standard 7800 is this really such a difficult concept for you to grasp? Would it help if I drew a simple picture of the number 24 for you? And you have every right to post but if your information is wrong then I'm going to question it. My video card is a Gainward BLISS 7800 GS+ 512MB AGP Silent - please read up on the specs before replying as I'm actually starting to get bored explaining them to you. Oh and the 7600GT scores you posted gave a 3d mark score of 3337 my card scores 5599 which absolutely crushes the 7600GT. Good day my friend.

Pff.M8, Gainward products are xtreme products they are exceptions that confirms the rule 7800 GS has 16 pipes.Gainward tends always to avoid Nvidia reference terminology.U will not find a similar implementation at other vendor ,dont full other users .The Gainward unusual implementations are not rules in this market. And your card should be tested in a similar hardware environment like those 2 or a 7600Gt on a similar platform like yours so we can make an ideea.Usual G70(notG71) implementations are in pair with 7600GT.Do not create confusion among users m8 ,extreme editions are anyway rare!7800GS+ is a Gainward invention. And i still have a question why did u bought such a good expensive video card for a mobo from ASROCK,this is rather strange such an expensive video card on such a weak cheap mobo. When u buy extreme editions expect at drivers working bad and lack of support from Nvidia reference drivers. In fact in your computer case u have 2 experimental products, without proper testing done.VIA chipsets are good and will continue to be no matter what vendor tries to put them down with bad implementations.
And DX 10.1 will support DX 10 hardware M8!
