Default Realtek sound drivers (Vista, XP, W2000

Get them at realtek.com.tw Just installed them and are working OK on this system.

Default Realtek sound drivers (Vista, XP, W2000

The only *problem* @ Realtek is they are really unclear as to what driver you should use. They have an AC'97 driver, and what they call their High Definition driver, if you are not clear as to what you own it is too easy to snag the wrong driver.

True but there is a read me file which states what the drivers are for, if people are still in doubt they should not install.

HD driver;
Driver Package R1.61
Realtek HD Audio Driver support all of Realtek HD Audio Codec in Vista/WinXP/Win2000/Win2003 .

As for all the early chips you need to read the read me for for the AC97 drivers to see waht they support.
