See what newer Nvidia AGP cards they have that they will exchange for. Nvidia and VIA chipsets have always played nicer together. Chris.

With a motherboard that old (2003 BIOS), it could be a tough row to hoe.

Though AGP 8x is supposed to be AGP 8x, its not quite that simple (is it ever?). Each generation of cards can have little chipset interoperability issues, solutions for which are usually approached through patching the BIOS. When the BIOS date corresponds with two or three generations ago (or older), it can be a problem since nobody is supporting that motherboard BIOS, anymore. Doesn't matter if its ATI or NVIDIA, the more generations between the hardware, the more compatibility troubles will occur.

Since you're not getting a POST to come up, presuming the card is not defective, that doesn't bode too well for ever getting it to work. You may need to limit your options to older generation cards.
