Need to know the maker and the model of your main board to tell any further, but, yes, the chipset should support those resolutions. However, the BIOS must also enable those resolutions as well.

Post back with the info about your board and we can also look for driver updates. Chris.

My M/B is industrial embedded 3.5" model: SBC84710 from axiomtek AXIOMTEK- Industrial PC, Embedded Computer, Industrial Computer, Single Board Computer, Embedded SBC, Embedded System, Industrial Motherboard, Panel PC, Human Machine Interface, Storage, Network Security Appliance, and Data Acquisition Control Card M. The spec. is CPU VIA V4 Eden 1Ghz , System Chipset CX700M+ITE8888G, Display Chipset integrated in VIA CX700M.

There are new drivers from august 21, 2008 here: VIA Arena - Display Drivers

See if those add the support for the resolution that you want. If not, then you will need to ask Axiomtek for a custom BIOS that will allow the resolution. Or you can skip all that mess and buy an add in video card. Chris.
