I have just reformat the computer and there is a "Video Controller (VGA compatible)" that keeps popping up. So I downloaded Everest and tried to find a driver for the video card. I pretty much tried to download all the drivers already and nothing seem to be working. please help. Thank you so much in advance!

I already tried this driver.

But every time i run the setup. it says that it cannot run install and check the log for more information...

I tried to install the driver in the above post. but it wont let me run install and tell me to go check the s3iscfg.log

I would install these motherboard drivers 5.04a VIA Arena - Display Drivers first and then try to install the video drivers.

I tried installing the motherboard driver first then the video.

the motherboard driver installs just fine. but it still wont let me install the video driver

I have installed the above driver for the motherboard but am suffering the same fate

Uninstall the video drivers in the device manager, reboot, once back into Windows cancel any video driver install program, now install the video drivers using VIA's method of install.

To install the driver, save any unsaved work and close all applications then click on the driver download link (above). Choose the "Save File" option and save it to your folder on the desktop, make one up called drivers. Unzip the file. (To unzip the file right click and highlight "Extract All") Then double click on the Setup.exe file to run the installation program. Follow the prompts and restart at the end of the installation.

Disable anti virus software while installing drivers.
