Hi.
I found this page looking for a driver for the same graphics card.
I have followed the link and got the driver.
Thanks.
But it hasn't fixed my problem with playing some computer games.
I was wondering is it possible to change my graphics card?
I don't know much about computers and am a bit spooked where it says intergrated.
This doesn't mean I'm stuck with this card forever does it?
I don't mind buying a new graphics card if it will fix the problem, but I need to know that it will fix the problem.
I was just wondering what would you suggest as a good graphics card, but at the same time, wasn't too costly.
I wasn't really planning on spending much more than £100 on one, but I would if needed.
I made a small YouTube video the other day asking for people's advice.
On it, it has examples of gameplay from The Sims 2 and World of Warcraft.
Have a quick look if you want to see what I have to put up with.
YouTube - I hate myself, because I'm a PC
I have been told by people it is my graphics card, and people have suggested such cards as Sapphire and ATI.
Also I have Vista and on a rating for my graphics, it gave me 1.0.
Hope you can help.
Thanks.

Having integrated graphics does not mean you are stuck with it, unless you have a Pico ITX board or similar that doesn't have any expansion slots. Since you didn't tell us what the make or model of your board is, I don't know what your particular board has.

Presuming you have at least an AGP slot, and even better, a PCI-E slot, there are literally hundreds of options for you to choose from to get a nice card that will allow you to play video games.

I prefer Nvidia based cards but the ATI based ones are good as well, just depends on your budget and what's available to you locally or Internet wise. ATI cards by Sapphire are good cards. I like Nvidia cards made by EVGA, but again it's a personal thing.

You must be somewhere in the UK, you use an example of Pounds as money, so I have no idea as to what prices video cards are in your part of the Globe, but L100 should get you a nice card. Time to do some shopping! Chris.

My board is pretty much the same as the one described here (I think).
P4M900.
The exact ID is 12/30/2006-P4M900-8237A-6A7L8FKBC-00 if that helps.
Yeah I'm from the UK.
£100 is probably about $150.
Thanks for your advice.
Now I know what I'm looking for, lol.
Quick noob question though.
Is it a graphics card I need, or video card, or are they both the same thing?
Thanks again

graphics card and video card are the same thing. You should check if your motherboard has an AGP slot, or a PCI-Express x16 slot.

An agp slot looks like the brown one above the white slots in this picture:

A pci-express x16 slot looks like the black one in this picture:

Once you've determined that, you can begin looking for a graphics card.

Sorry for the noob questions.
But now I know what I'm looking for, I can play video games the way they were meant to be played.
Thanks guys.

Ha ha, the Nvidia slogan, "I can play video games the way they were meant to be played."

Just be sure, before you go shopping, to find out what type of expansion slot your board has. If you tell us the make and model of your board we can look it up and tell you for sure.

If you don't know that info, go to Majorgeeks.com and download Everest Home Edition. It's free. Run it and under the catagory of Motherboard Info, will tell you what expansion slots your board has. Chris.

I didn't know what bit exactly to put in, so I just put up everything that came up when doing a quick report on the Motherboard. Hope this helps.
I should've done this at the begining, lol.
Thanks.

Motherboard P4M9007MB 683D3P12 123006
Ei Systems Model E206 PC with a Foxconn P4M9007MB-8RS2H motherboard. Other than the BIOS being customized for EI Systems (e.g. Dixons, Currys), the motherboard is identical, so you can just refer to the Foxconn link for the best information.

This board will accept BIOS updates from Foxconn, but if EI/DIXONS uses OEM pre-activation in its customized BIOS, the Foxconn BIOS would not preserve this, resulting in Windows being de-activated. You can activate Windows by calling Microsoft Activation Support, but you would need to change the product key first to the key located on the COA sticker. Kind of a pain, but it can be done.

This board has PCI Express x16 (1.0) slot available but given the problems reported using PCI-E 2.0 graphics cards on VIA chipsets, it may be better to stick with previous generation PCI-E 1.0 cards. I actually have this motherboard (Foxconn branded) but I don't have any PCI-E 2.0 cards on-hand that I could verify. One unknown factor we need to consider is how much headroom your power supply has available. Being a low-cost system, the PSU will probably become the limiting factor before your £100 budget. Some options with low power consumption are:

NVIDIA GeForce 7300GS or 7300LE
ATI Radeon X1550

Any of which would be a huge improvement over the integrated graphics, though I'm not certain this level would be enough to play WOW at the performance you desire. Something in the range of ATI Radeon X1650 PRO would be better, though I'm not sure your PSU will be up for it.
