Default Via/S3G Unichrome IGP Drivers for 1680 x 1050

Hi, i am from Austria.

I recently got a 22" LCD and can only select 1600 x 1200 resolution. I need to use 1680 x 1050

I have all drivers update. But i can't select 1680 x 1050
I have VIA/S3G Unichrome (K8M800)

What can i do?

Sorry my English is not so good.

You need to ask the maker of the mother board for a custom BIOS that will allow the resolution that you want. Chris.

Default BIOS

Is this really a VGA bios issue?

My EPIA can't get 1400x900 resolution.
But I can have that reso if it's accessed using Remote Desktop. Remote desktop uses a virtual graphics devices.

Yes. Unless you are using a very out-dated driver.

If the BIOS has defined support for this resolution, the driver will be aware of it. If the BIOS does not define support for this resolution, the driver won't know about it.
