Everest reports AGP disabled?
Having many problems getting my board to work.
One thing I noticed is that PC Wizard from cpuid.com says that AGP is disabled, why would this be?
I do have an AGP card, GeForce FX5200.

Wow you are having all sorts of problems. Let's back up a few steps here. Is this a system that has been running for a while or something you are trying to put together? Chris.

Can you post the make and model of your motherboard along with the operating system?

Long story short, I have been swopping motherboards with others I had lying around, first was a Soltek SL-75MRN-L but it has damaged PCI slots, so I have swapped to the KT600-RL, essentially you could call it a new system 'cos It's a fresh install of Windows, all other components in the system have been fine all along.
The KT600-RL was used by my brother for some time, and was working at least at one stage, though I was never aware of the IDE problems with it before (they may have existed when my brother had the board), I had a hard time getting sound to work for my brother with the board in the past, and can't remember how I got it working back then.

Take a look at the capacitors on the board, especially around the area of the CPU. If any have bulging tops or are leaking, then this could be the cause of all these problems you are having.
Also, what drivers are you using for that nVidia card? I would definately NOT recommend the latest ones, go back to a 66.xx or 77.xx series driver, if you can find them. Chris.

I'm using ForceWare 78.01, I've used these with multiple boards for a long time and had no problems.
I always inspect my hardware pretty well for those kind of things (Capacitors leaking, burns etc.), and did not notice anything like that on the board, checked caps again and they look fine (didn't actually remove the board from the box this time, as it's a huge mission, so I guess it may be possible), I'm sure though that the hardware is fine in that regard.

When you clean installed did you update Windows to SP2/3 and any other updates from MS. Then I would install these drivers from VIA Version - 4.56v for the KT600-RL which can be found here http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=420&OSID=1&CatID=1070&Old=1
Then once they are installed, check the device manager for errors to do with AGP drivers, if all is OK install the video drivers that Chris has said and then check to see if AGP is disabled with DXdiag.
Also in the bios if you have these options are they enabled before you install Windows?
APIC
ACPI
Allocate IRQ to AGP
All others settings for AGP at default.

I have tried installing the drivers after SP2/3, but haven't really focused on the AGP issue to be honest, so I can't really remember if that helped, I've been more focused on sorting out my poor IDE performance and getting my on board audio to work.
I'll also give those drivers a try, I'm not too sure about those BIOS setings but I'll check them out...

I checked andAPIC is enabled
ACPI se to S3
No option to allocate IRQ to AGP
All other options set defualt
Note, can't remember what all settings were at when I installed, most would be as they are now. Would it make much difference?

Thats fine, and yes changing APIC settings requires a clean install. Did you try installing the VIA drivers that I recommended? What was the outcome?
