Default VIA update 515
Driver detector tells me this driver package is the one for my computer. I am running Windows XP SP2. Mobo is an Abit AV8 w/VIA K8T800-8237 chipset.
Drivers won't install, tho installer says they did. Did the installer pack the drivers away in some folder and I must manuall install?

The installer is probably correct, only the drivers that need to be updated get updated. Driver Detector is only looking at the dates of the VIA drivers and comparing those dates to the current date, it really doesn't know if there really are newer drivers for your board available. Chris.
