Default Trouble after uninstalling 4in1

UPDATE: I removed a stick of RAM and everything ran smoothly. After doing Windows Update to get it up to SP3, I re-installed the RAM and everything still works fine. I did MEMTEST on both RAM sticks and they seem to be OK. Strange, but whatever works...

I have an ASRock 775Dual-VSTA MB (ASRock Motherboard - Product - 775Dual-VSTA - Overview) and yesterday I went to the downloads section of that website to get the latest chipset drivers, which on that site is 5.07A (ASRock Motherboard - Product - 775Dual-VSTA - Download). After installing that, I wanted to uninstall the RAID software (the icon that sits in the system tray) since I don't have a RAID array. After that I re-booted the PC and just as the Windows XP loading screen appeared I received a BSOD. I re-booted and got the same thing again. Figuring a driver got messed up somehow during the uninstall, I put in my Windows XP CD and started to do a system Repair. Once the "Installing Devices" progress bar got about 2/3s of the way across, I got another BSOD (irql_not_less_or_equal stop 0x0000000A). After removing every device and card from my PC (except the video card, mouse & keyboard) I tried to resume the setup, but got the same BSOD in the same place. I then tried changing my BIOS settings to the bare minimum and still got the same problem. I re-booted and tried to go into the BIOS one more time to see if there was anything else I could try changing, but I'm at a loss. I even tried running the SATA drive in RAID mode and provided the latest VIA RAID drivers on a floppy during XP setup, but got the same BSOD. Help please! TIA
