Apollo Pro chipset Abit VL6 board

A couple of questions guys.

1. What 4in1 driver version does XP Service Pack 2 install?

2. Recommended video driver for BFG Geforce 5200 Ultra 128mb for my system?

System specs:

Abit VL6 motherboard (Apollo Pro chipset)
BIOS version (VL6K)
WinXP Service Pack 3 (Upgraded from 98SE)
Pentium 3 1.0GHZ 133 FSB
768mb RAM PC-133
BFG Geforce 5200 Ultra 128mb (currently 175.16)
Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum (drivers are current)
Plextor DVD-RW
Toshiba DVD-ROM
400 watt power supply

After upgrading the system I checked the registry and there was no listing for VIA. I also wasn't to pleased with the performance of some games that used to run better when 98SE was on it. I then downloaded VIA 4in1 4.43 and installed them and the performance was better but I think my video card drivers are too current. After installing the 4.43's I checked the registry and it now shows 4.42, is this right? Shouldn't it be 4.43?

If you can find them I would try the 66.xx series or 77.xx series of Forceware drivers. Seems the oldest I can find on the nVidia site is these: ForceWare Windows XP/2000 32-bit.

I wouldn't worry about Windows reporting the wrong number for the VIA drivers, as far as I know there was no 4.42, just 4.43. Chris.
