Install Hyperion or Vinyl driver with platform.msi to WINDOWS.XXX
Tested on: Windows 98 SE; clear install; 3 motherboard with VIA chipset.
Hyperion or Vinyl drivers with platform.msi (regardless which version).
Windows directory C:\WINDOWS.004
- install failed - I just get the InstallShield Wizard window "InstallShieldWizard Completed. The wizard was interrupted before [.....] could be completely installed."
Windows directory C:\WINDOWS
- install succes
