VIA Hyperion SATA Support
I'm experiencing many problems with the latest drivers and RAID.
1) v5.16 does not install over v5.13; I get BSOD after reboot.
2) v5.13 does not power down the SATA drive in standby mode.
3) v5.70 V-RAID does not install; installation wizard complains
it can't find the supported hardware - probably related to
the v5.16 problem. RAID Utility 4.04 works fine.
I am running an up to date Win2K on a EN-Series board. BTW, my
PATA drives work fine. All of these problems seem to be related
to their SATA support. Their PATA support is mature and ready
for prime time. SATA not so much.
