Default P4V8X-X and XP SP2

Does anyone have problem installing XP SP2 into Asus P4V8X-X mobo? I've try to install this update into my system, but it can't work at all. Please advice, any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

I would get my money back. You can download SP2 free from Microsoft. There should be no reason that SP2 won't install on your Asus board. Chris.

My XP CD's have SP2 "slipstreamed" in so when I install Windows, I already get SP2, which should have all the VIA drivers you need already built in. I don't have a VIA board any more, but the last one I had, an Abit AV8, had no problems with the VIA drivers.

Try installing XP, then SP2, then see what yellow "!" marks you have in Device Manager, or just wait and see what drivers Windows says it needs. Chris.
