I just tried to update from v5.13A to v5.16A and installation
hangs at 50% during the SATA controller update. Specifically,
the ViBus.sys and ViPrt.sys drivers for Win2K on EN series.

I see the Falcon has been updated. There is still no MiniIDE driver for Vista in the package; the release notes of the Falcon package suggest to use the default driver. Will there be an updated MiniIDE driver for Vista in the (near) future?

Yup. It hung on me at 84% during the IDE update, and now my XP install is stuck in a permanent reboot loop. Safe mode is inaccessable. I am not happy.

Does last known good configuration work for you?

It seems thre is a new version of the driver ..... Version 5.17A of the Hyperion Pro drivers

PS: I just join the forum .. i hope i can learn from U guys
