There is always a chance that new drivers will cause problems with older systems, even those systems that are only a few years old. I like to say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!". If the PC is running o.k. I would just leave it.
I think your current drivers should be at least version 4.53.
If you do decide to try newer drivers, always set a Restore Point before you install the new drivers, that way you can roll back if needed.
To install any VIA Driver package, download the Zip file and un-zip it to a folder on your Desktop. Then open the file and run the Installer. Old files will be automatically over written. Chris.
