New via drivers fracked up my hard drives

Just installed the new Hyperion drivers (from August). It turned my SATA hard drives into unpluggable versions (interesting cause they're SATA) and the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon is now in my tasktray with both of my drives there. Guess what? I can't go back a revision because it disconnects them (cause the OS thinks it can) and NOW it no longer has any hard drives. @#(*#$)(*!!!

Anyone else have this issue? Its REALLY REALLY annoying.

Is absoutely normal having the safely remove hardware icon once u install sata, if my memory didn't fail me, inorder not to have this icon, u shouldn't install one of the drivers from the mobo cd but can't really recall which is it atm
