VIA AGP Drivers for Vista RC1
If I remember correctly, RC1 installed the correct nVidia drivers on my DFI machine when I installed Vista. It found them on the Net and did it for me. RC1 still doesn't work for most of my games, tho. Poop! I do like the look of Vista, tho! Chris.

Yep, true! Does your nvidia have the control panel?? Mine doesn't seem to have it. An that might be my problem, cause games n stuff go slower on vista then xp, which it shouldn't.
I'm gonna try get me brothers Pentium 4 and mobo, if that doesnt work, oh well, i'll just give up until i get the final release!

And plus this stupid piece of trash MB does'nt have fast write!! And my RAM has to be downclocked for the system to be stable! So anyone out there, for your own sake, DONT buy
a Mercury MB, and if someone gives you one, throw it away, fast!!

Steve, I think the nVidia Control panel is in there somewhere, I have not been using RC1 because, as you said, games run too slow. I have XP Pro Sp2 on my primary drive and Vista on a second drive, so I just boot into XP.
Like I said, hopefully RTM will be better. Chris.

True, exactly wat i do, except both very stupidly on my only hard drive, 40 gig! Thing is, this mate of mine, he had a PCI express 6600GS and when he ran it on vista, he apparantly was gettin 6000 3d mark 05 points, compared to 2000 something on XP, So i really thought something would help for me, but nooo, obviously they not thinkin of AGP anymore, cause they want it obsolete! I lose over 2000 3d mark points going to Vista! Something really odd there!

The numbers from the the differsnt versions of 3Dmark... will be different. The methodology of the tests are completely different, so the numbers will notbe equal or close to equal.
