Your asrock mobo should work with your AGP graphic card, given that it support 8x too, but remember to to uninstall any previous graphic drivers if there is any. Here's the link to your mobo.

How much did your 7800gs+ cost I can't seem to find one for under $400, or are you trying to decide whether you are going to buy it or not?
