Problem to install VT8332A driver

I'm having a problem to install the driver. I have the windows
xp sp2, Via KT333 Apollo, Gigabyte GA-7VRXP.</p>



The Windows don't recognize the driver, is about the standard
pci to isa bridge. When I go to control panel, system ... and other
device, appear unknown device.</p>



How do I make to this driver to be recognized by windows?</p>



Others parts of driver works, is regular.</p>

Which driver?

If you care to read the driver page, it cares to recommend the 'retro' driver for your chipset. Many here use the 'retro' driver for the KT333 chipset (4.43) without 'problems'.
If you insist on trying, using the newer driver, it sometimes helps to unzip the driver to a folder, removing the 'offending' device in your device mgr, and on re-start pointing to this folder when windoze is looking for the driver.
