HYPERION REALLY NECESSARY?

I read somewhere in this forum that if the pc hasSP2 <span
style=" text-decoration: underline;">it is not recommended to
install hyperion</span>, is that really correct? If so, install
SP1, and after install hyperion, my system will be faster?
I&acute;ve heard that a lot of people is installing
SP1,hyperion,and then SP2, is this recommended?</p>

Even with SP2 i installed the hyperion but it only installed the
"inf driver", what does this "inf" means and
what it really does to our machines? is it too necessary?</p>

Yes they are needed to tell XP your chipset settings...In the Registry...

And theres no issyues either be SP1 or 2 then install the Latest chipset driver...

But, when i install the latest hyperion, the only thing that is
installed is the "inf". Should i leave the microsoft AGP
control drivers or install, for example, via 4.53 Hyperion (that
overwrite the AGP and others) and right after the latest hyperion
with my SP2? I just want to know what is the <span style="
text-decoration: underline;">best way</span> for performance.</p>
