Iwill KK266plus(help please)

I've been trying to find a driver for this MB. IWill doesn't
even list this MB on their site, and its only 4 years old.</p>



The old driver disk was for only 2K and not XP Pro. Here's what
I've found out about the chipset:</p>



KT133A</p>



VT8363A</p>



VT82C686B</p>

Any help would be greatly appreciated.</p>

Here you go.....linky Just select win xp follow by chipset drivers if you're looking for the 4 in 1 drivers, as for audio, lan and video drivers, you have install seperately.

No dice. After reboot, still the same message. New hardware
found, 'where the hell are my drivers"?</p>



Just about ready to shoot it.</p>

Installing the 4 in 1 drivers shouldn't prompt you new hardware found, it should be referring to some other device which you have in your system, try going to device manager by doing the following, right click my computer and choose properties&gt;hardware tab&gt;device manager and look for any exclamation marks. Post back which device are giving you the problem.

That's where I'm getting my information. Only exclamation mark showing in DM is 'VIA bus master IDE drivers'. That is where my problem lies. Not sure how to get around it.

Did you try uninstalling it from device manager, reboot and see how it goes?

I had tried this more than once, but, this time, I guess due to the installation of the 4 in 1 driver, the 'found new hardware wizard didn't come back. And DM comes up clean as it should.
Go figure.
