BSOD at Boot.
I set up my new system about a month agao and after I uninstalled the 4.53 driver I rebooted and got the BSOD after windows splash screen loaded. It said I needed to make sure my drivers were up to date or to check for any bad hardware.
ANywyas I know its not bad hardware because most is new and plus it happened right after I rebooted from the 4in1 uninstall which leads me to believe its a 4in1 driver issue.
I installed the 4.55 driver I rebooted and everything was fine. The system runs stable but I get this messege about once a week during boot, after the splash screen loads.
Technical details are as follows:
STOP: 0X000000C5,C0XE19CB000,0X00000002,0X00000001,0X805 3D5AE.
Please do not suggest the new 4in1 driver.Im not gonna reinstall any 4in1 until I figure out whats going on.
Thanks!

BSOD at Boot.
Hey, Chunko. I have had a few " Stop " error messages in the past, most were ( are ) memory related.
Try going to the Microsoft website, enter the " Stop : 0x000000C5 " into the search box and see the related
items and their solutions. Hope that this helps you. Chris.

Hi chunko
From the sound of things I don't think that you are having a driver conflict with the Hyperion 4in1's but more of a hardware fault most likely caused by a power related setting.
I would try increasing the voltage in your BIOS for your Corsair's in small increments as well as increase the voltage to your ATI Radeon AGP card in your BIOS. I know that your dual channel Corsair's require a little extra "juice" to run more efficiently and error free.... and it has been reported in numerous forums that increasing the voltage to the AGP slot for ATI AGP cards has solved for the most part any lock-ups and/or display issues
Hope this helps

Hi SaphireX,
I cant up the voltage for AGP as there is no option in my BIOS to do so.
You do understand that this happens about once a week and I never get stablity issues regardless of how intensive I push the system.
I even ran memtest86 last night with no errors.
Dont you think its quite peculiar that this started after I rebooted from the 4.55 driver installation?
What do you suggest now?
Is there anyone who knows how to read the stop error?I googles to all hell to find nothing that pertains to my error(that is,0X8053D5AE).
Seems to me as if the last section of the error,0X8053D5AE, should indicate what the fault is.
Plz help...

Hi chunko
You should be able to make an increase to your voltage for your AGP slot in your A8V BIOS LOOK under JumperFree Configuration and there you should SEE AGP Voltage most likely set to 1.5V with an option for 1.7V......... also........above that is where your DDR voltage should be with besides "auto" you should be able to select 2.6V, 2.7V, 2.8V ...
If those settings are not available in your 1010.003 BIOS perhaps it is in am EARLIER BIOS revision for the A8V.
the 0x8053 = Point-to-Point Protocol Extensions Used for establishing and configuring data encryption algorithms over PPP
and the D5AE seems to deal with Timezone, UTC-0500. Cryptography. PGP key id
So it would seem that maybe (since you don't say that you have PGP installed on your system encrypting your hard drive(s) .........
Speculating that maybe after one of your BSOD's that one or several of XP's MD5 Hash or other crypto algorythms at the OS level got corrupt...again this is speculating since the exact error code is not defineable....

How about a system restore to a point before you uninstalled the 4.53's if this was the only change that was made. Or you can just install the 4.53's again and they will overwrite the 4.55's.

SaphireX,
There is no option for JumperFree Configuration in my BIOS and I have no plans on downgrading my BIOS.
I dont have PGP installed..Never did.
"Speculating that maybe after one of your BSOD's that one or several of XP's MD5 Hash or other crypto algorythms at the OS level got corrupt."
Is it possible XP could have been corrupted after I swapped out my drive to my new motherboard?I had this drive with XP installed on my older Via P4PB-400? (great board BTW).
I read from someone who was having a simila problem that he changed his boot priority to 1-CD-Rom,2-Floppy-3,Hard drive.I boubt that will fix this but I tried it anyways.
So Saphire,if I still get the problem Im considering a format/reinstall and if that doesnt fix it then I know its a hardware/BIOS issues and I will do as you stated in your last post(downgrade and tweak BIOS settings).
kilroy67,
Thanks for the suggestion but I dont use System restore.I found it to be useless in the past although if I reinstall I may enable it for the hell of it.

I am aware of the error messages you have seen in the past.
The error I stated is indeed a valid MS BSOD error(although I didnt copy word for word in my post)it is a valid BSOD.
Im surprised you havent seen it..Guess you havent run into this issue.
So anyway,Im gonna post back here in a couple weeks to let you guys know what the solution was(hopefully).
Thanks!
