Problem to rotate the desktop to 270 degree

I had a problem to rotate the desktop to 270 degree.


• CPU: Onboard VIA Eden ESP10K 1 GHz
• System Chipset: VIA CLE266 VT8623/VT8237R
• OS: Windows XP Embedded SP2
• Integrated graphic driver: CLE266 Graphics Controller Driver
• LCD: 10.2" wide screen (800x480)

This graphic driver is adapted from logo'ed display driver CLE266_WinXP_16944409_XP_Rotation_logod.zip for the graphics controller integrated in VT8623 (CLE266). This driver component supports the Rotation function.

I can rotate the desktop to 90/ 270 degree (vertical) when screen resolution is set to 800 x 600, but it’s not work when screen resolution 640 x 480.

At 800 x 600, when the desktop rotate to 90/ 270 degree, the screen resolution become 768 x 1024.

Why?
