Default EX Mainboard, LVDS, LCD Interfacing Problem

I have a VIA EPIA-EX mainboard running BIOS v1.04 (even though the latest download on VIA website is v1.01). I ordered a custom-built LVDS cable and connected it to a NEC NL10276BC20-04 LCD panel and, at best, I get a display that is the correct height, but is twice as wide as the display. It's as if every pixel is being clocked twice into the panel. I have tried every setting of the BIOS "Advanced Chipset Features" menu. Under "Select Display Device" I tried "CRT+LCD", "LCD", and "LCD+TV" and under "Panel Type" I tried all sixteen values (0x00 - 0x0F). The default setting of 0x02 gave me the correct height but the width was twice the screen width. The NEC NL10276BC20-04 is an 18-bit, single LVDS channel, 1024x768, 3.3V LCD display panel. I have the mainboard IVDD_SEL and PVDD_SEL jumpers set correctly.

Any help is very appreciated,
Coop

PS: I can post the NL10276BC20-04 if that's needed and allowed.

PS: Additional Info:
I brought up an EPIA-EN w/ the LVDS07 18-bit add-on adapter and got a sort-of OK BIOS
screen using "Panel Type" codes 0x09 and 0x0B which I've read in another post somewhere
are for 1024x768 2-channel applications (That post was about an LT10000EAG). My panel
is only 1-channel. The text in the BIOS screen isn't quite right and I'm building a
WinXPe image to see what it looks like on this setting.

PS: The EPIA-EN + LVDS07-18 display is messed up. The BIOS codes 0x00 - 0x0F cause different
results but none of them produces a correct image on the LCD panel.
