Default laptop battery for nano itx

Hi,

I have a nano itx and I am trying to get it configured like a laptop. I am trying to use the SMBUS connected to the smart battery's clock and data terminals use it to monitor how much charge is left in the battery. Right now, all that I see is that it is plugged into an AC source, which it is not. Since the N700 has SMBUS support, I thought that I just had to plug in the right cables and then XP pro would sense it and install the correct drivers.

I have the N700 mainboard with 2GB of ram, running XP pro with a 7 inch touch screen and am trying to make a portable computer out of it.

Any ideas?

Thanks
lyonsksd
