Default Pico ITX DVI

Hello all,

I have a pico ITX running XP (service pack 3).
I am using a monitor/plasma that is hooked up using the DVI connector.

I am using the S3 driver that I downloaded from the viaarena site.

The driver will let you select if the 'DVI device' should be active or not.

If I reboot the pico board with the DVI 'active' (the monitor is on and displaying) it will not reboot and things seem so messed up that I need to reset the board.
If I reset the board with the DVI device de-activated it just reboots fine.

Also, after running for several hours (with the plasma in power saving mode, a windows setting) the board seems to 'freeze up' and again the only way to get it going again is to reset the board.

Did anyone experience this too ? Any ideas ? Is there a bios upgrade ? or a new video driver ?

thanks,

Ron
