Default EPIA EN15000

Hi: I am putting together a system using a WD 500G Sata2 hardrive and an internal Pioneer Slim DVD driver (DVRK06). Frankly, I cannot figure out where to plug these components in on the motherboard. The schematic of the motherboard is woefully inadequate, not giving much information on where anything goes.

Thanks for any help

I would have thought it fairly easy to figure out. You connect the SATA drive to the SATA1 or SATA2 connector, and the DVD Drive to the IDE connector. If you download the Operating guide from http://www.via.com.tw/en/produ...jsp?motherboard_id=399 it has a nice picture on page 2 (4 of 16) that has arrows to the various connectors. I may have had to squint a bit to figure out which was IDE1 and which was IDE2 but I could read the printing to figure out which was SATA1 and which was SATA2.

Wim.
