Default VIA EPIA EN15000

Hi again

Just tryed cutting the Power Good and connecting it to a 5V source instead. It works fine. I'll stay with that solution.
Without my mb draining the Power Good I measure 5V at the PSU so the problem is most probably that EN12000 is sinking too much current (or the PSU has a bad design allowing too little current to be drained).

As mentioned my std PC PSU dropped down to 3.5V so even that might be close to having a problem.
I'm just saying this to tell you guys that even when trying with other PSU's you might experience troubles

Default VIA EPIA EN15000

Hi All,

It seems that the EN series is having some problems especially after the first initial boot up. Check if your HDD is IDE Type or SATA Type. If it is IDE, then you will have to do a clear CMOS and reset your BIOS setting to IDE. This is because the default is SATA.

Also, for the memory types, try to get Infineon, Elixir, Kingston, Crucial, Hynix first party RAMs, other brands may have compatibility issues.

The PSU provided by the casing manufacturers usually do not have much of a problem.

Hope this helps.

I have exactly the same problem. But I have this motherboard VIA EN15000 with M2-ATX supply for few months now and I have experienced this problem only in the last 14 days. The configuration is the same from the beginning. Only manually reseting the bios (via jumper) help to solve the problem.
