Default Could someone check for...

Physical Address Extension (PAE) feature on the Nehemiah fitted ITX boards?
I asked a querstion earlier as to whether NetWare would now run as it requires this feature on the processor but there are not too many NetWare people around any more

I believe that SiSoft Sandra software will report the presence of this and I know AIDA32 Sysinfo tool will under the CPUID Features section. Could someone run it and post the result here for the record! (I'm sure there are plenty of Linux tools to tell if this is running also)

Thanks

Graham

Hey - well.. I found out myself eventually. It appears that it is not implemented in the Nehemia chip as it was thought no-one would want to address over 4gb of RAM on one.

Hello
My friend use Netware 6.5 with PentiumM (without address extension) laptop.
He use "Service Pack 1" (Server.Exe) patch.
Perhaps this patch can be used with C3, Nehemiah or Eden.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply back. Novell released a patched Server.exe and then incorprated into the SP1 of V6.5 which is good news! I am trying to find if I can run NetWare 6.0 on it now but I have put a post on the NetWare Forums for this hoping someone can confirm.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond and confirm V6.5 is OK!

Thanks
