Unhappy UABIT finally gone?

RIP, ABIT!

But my website, www.abithelp.com • Index page is here!

UABIT's Forums and websites have been down all weekend, looks like Universal Scientific finally pulled the plug. The Taiwan servers have an announcement page that they are doing maintenance, but I don't think so.

Sad, it's a big loss, all the info that was there in the Forums, I even set up my own website so folks could archive their data but no one seemed interested. Now it's all gone. Oh well. Life goes on anyways. Chris.

Most drivers you can get from the different vendors, ATI, Nvidia, Intel, Realtek, etc.

We have a link on my website, abithelp.com, for all the latest BIOS and manuals that are on an archive server that my friend Josh set up. Got 'ya covered, Ricky! Chris.

Yep, it sure does. Whatever is out in the market place for sale now is the last of a legend.

Universal Scientific bought Abit last year, basically because they wanted all of Abit's board fab equipment. Not sure what USI wants to do with it, but they do already make boards for CAD-CAM and other embedded industrial applications.

I'm still gonna run the Abit boards that I have until the wheels fall off, and if I can pick up more Abit boards in the future, I will (as long as they're AMD CPU boards ) Chris.
