Anyone know? Is a Pentium 4 acer pc due to the psu went dead which is why it need to be replaced

Should not be a problem, unless Acer does the same as Dell, Compaq and a few others, and uses a smaller size PSU than the ATX standard size. By that I mean the physical size (dimensions) not the wattage. Chris.

Tks guys, hopefully i can find the particular psu at those PC DIY outlet say if is indeed of a smaller dimension and do not have to get it from acer.

Lucky it work, went down today and managed to swap a acer psu to a diy one and it booted up fine after swapping
