The AMD web site has a breakdown of the code on the chip. gives the voltage etc. I had a copy of it on site but deleted it a while back. But go to this page http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/...0,,30_182_9417 and follow this link http://www.amd.com/gb-uk/assets/cont..._Rev05_ENG.pdf
This should get the info you wish.

You identify them by the OPN code on them.
For example AXD, first group of letters from a 2600+ OPN,shows a processor 0.13 microns.
As an example my Athlon XP 1700+ T-bred A has the following code AXDA 1700 DLT3C :
->AXD_0.13microns
->A_desktop
->1700_proc model name
->D_package type OPGA
->L_voltage value 1,5Volts
->T_max temperature 90*Celsius
->3_cache 256k
->C_FSB value 266.

Furthermore under this code is writen another one with the stepping and production date on my 1700 there is
AIUGA 0248 SPMW
Last letter from AIUGA->last A shows that is a revision A if it was B it would have been B revision.
0248 shows the week that for me was with luck ,the multiplier was unlocked.
Older AMD peocessors have also a bigger die with square form that should be a Palomino and with a chewstnut color usually.
Post the codes from the processor to find what processor you have.I ll help you.
Palomino should be 0.18 microns.
