3D Mark Vantage Top Ten Scores!!

I actually thought id get a bit higher then this with the card im using. Also my RAM is running at 667Mhz, whenever i increase it the system wont get past POST and the BIOS resets itself. Im guessing i need to add voltage to it, but i really don't want to lol.

hmm..i just ran the test at stock speeds and i got P6421. This means that my overclock isn't making a difference at all, but it should be making a much bigger difference , maybe 1k + , right?

Your getting about the same as I do at stock Mike. Also when you OC to 3GHZ you score about the same, even a little higher. I got the score I did by overclocking both my CPU and GPU.

oh i see, in my old system when i overclocked i used to get a higher score :S

With just my CPU overclocked I get 6553 to your 6663, a 110 point difference. Basically the same performance. Where the 8800GTX really shines is when you start turning on AA and AF in games, because it has 768 of memory and a 384 bit bandwidth, it tends to outperform the 9800GTX.
