I dont think its more a annoyance then a concern. Have you done a full Defrag of your HD, also are you using the latest drivers from Nvidia??

Ill defrag, make sure i have the latest drivers and try it again. Also, ive read that once you have come to a suitable CPU clock frequency that you should perform a 8-12 hour stress test to ensure that your system is stable . Is their any point in doing this , or doing more then an hour ?

No there is not point to stress test for 8-12 hr. If your system wasnt stable you would of noticed during that 30min of running Prime. Latest drivers are 175.12 Beta, thats what Im using.

Hard to say what it really could be, try dropping it down to 2.8GHZ and see how it goes.

OK well ive dropped it down to 2.8Ghz , seems to be fine so far. I had a long session of UT3 and TF2 without any problems whatsoever. Will leave it like this for now because i have exams and such coming up and dont have much time for a proper "fine tuning" atm :P
