Antec 900 Fan configuration
Ok so im using the antec 900 , and currently have two intake fans in centre and bottom , with another fan on the inside centre , an outtake at the back and a 200mm top outtake fan (which draws out virtually no air , im guessing its due to the Zalman). Atm the front 120 mm intakes are blowing on the bottom of the case i.e. the PSU and bottom of the motherboard , and the other intake directly on the GPU. I was wondering if anybody else with this case uses some other configuration / layout. I was thinking moving the bottom one to the top which would blow air onto the CPU .

The 2 on the bottom blow in, 1 in the back blows out, and the top one blows out as well.
That's your best configuration for positive airflow.
The 200mm fan DOES daw out air, it's just that it's a slower rpm since it's larger, so it gives the impression it isn't moving very fast.

Ahh i see . So two front at the bottom rather then at the top blowing on CPU would be best? Also what about adding one on the side , would it make a lot of difference or would it just interfere ?

Your not going to see much change blowing it at the cpu considering you already have heatsink with a fan on it.
I would not put a fan on the side, that's just going to screw your positive airflow.
I'm guessing your having temperature issues?

Those temps look fine, Mike. Is that under load or at idle? Chris.

They have to be at idle.
You also have almost a 10 degree variance in your cores. Time to reseat your heatsink.

You can try blowing out the dust from, if that doesn't work, which I don't believe it will, then you'll have to take it off and reseat it.

lol yer i kinda tried blowing out the dust but theres actually like...a layer of it now . i cant see the copper thats behind the fan its all dust. After 3 months i kinda expected it but still its a crazy amount. But anyway once its seated correctly (hopefulyli wont need to take out the motherboard to do it ) and dusted it , what woudl you say about overclocking with these temps?
