Ok so i finally have saved up and am about to order most of the parts my finalised list is :

Core 2 Duo E6600
Antec 900
ABIT Fatal1ty nForce 650i SLI (FP-IN9)
Samsung SH-S203B 20X DVD±RW/RAM / DL Serial ATA Black Bare Drive
Seagate ST3320620AS 320GB SATAII
OCZ gold 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400
XFX Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS 320MB

This should all be compatible and fairly stable. Just one question , am i ok with the 500W PSU , it is a reliable make with 2x 12 volt rails at 16 A each. Or would i be better off getting a 650 Watt PSU?

500 watts is borderline for that system and video card. Go for the 650 watt just to be safe. Chris.

Yep. everything else looks good! I hope you like that Abit board, I hear good things about them. Very overclockable. All my PC's have Abit boards in them now.

My last piece for my newest build will be to replace my 7900GTO with an 8800GTS 640, altho as it is with the Black Edition 6400+ AM2, this rig is very fast! Let us know when it's up and running! Chris.

The OCZ your looking at is mediocre at best. It has ripple issues. This is my recommendation http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817139004 it's the same price, but worlds better.

You could use the Coolermaster, but refrain from using it with the 8800GTS or you may have undesired results.
