I would look into a 8800GTS 320MB, here in the USA I see them priced from$280-$300.

ahh yeh Kilroy your right i can get an 8800 GTS 320 MB for £40 more then 2x 8600GT

Thats the path I would choose then. I have the 8800GTS 640MB and love it, it rips through any of these newer games with no problems, and the 8800GTS 320MB performs very similar.

yar i see if i kep the anti-aliasing lower it shuld be fine but thats probsably on higher end games anyway so yep i think ill do that [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

With the 8800GTS 640MB I have, take for example Lost Planet I can run at 8XQ, on Company of Heroes I can also run 8XQ. At 1280x1024 you will be able to do the same. Its only at higher resolutions like 1600x1200 that the 8800GTS 320MB starts to fade, due to the lesser amout of Video ram.

Will my power supply and cooling be sufficient for the card aswell as all the other components (OCZ ram , Core 2 Duo CPU)
