You really can't go wrong with an AMD rig right now- the CPUs are CHEAP (and fast)! You are going to need some DDR SDRAM and a good name-brand motherboard. Prices have been high for DDR lately- maybe they'll start to fall soon. Your 350W PS should be fine. You will want a decent HSF (NOT the retail AMD unit!)- there are plenty available. Welcome to AMD GOODNESS!

Your Celeron is a POS, but I'm sure you knew that when you brought it. Generally speaking nowdays, of the faster CPU's (2800+ vs P4
2.8GHz) the Intel is cheaper, but for the lower end (1.8GHz vs 1800+) the AMD is cheaper. There is one thing. Don't buy a K7S5A. I had one
for a little while, it is total crap. Sure it's cheap, but there is a reason why that board is cheap. If you want a AMD based SiS solution, get
the Leadtek motherboard. Otherwise, the KT333 and nF2 are ok.

You could wait for the AMD Hammer to come out, and then if you buy that you can say "it's Hammer Time!"

BTW, the main reason why your Celeron is running so poorly is because you are using PC133 RAM. That is really making your Celeron run like
a 900MHz Celeron. Maybe even worse. If you fed it some DDR, you will see a huge performance increase. It still won't be the speed of a
new processor and motherboard, but you can save some money and get some good performance out of what you already have.
