3D Mark06 Top 10 Scores
I deliberatly called this topic "bragging" between quotes, because as far as I can tell, this benchmark is HEAVY! Even with your 7800GT(X) it will look like a slideshow.
Wondering how well all high-end systems will perform here Gonna run the test soon!! I'll post back here then

Dude, Kilroy already told me his score! Bragging? I don't think either one of us can come close! I haven't run

BTW, not to be un-noticed by us lowly " commoners " with simple AGP cards, Kilroy has a reply in Dogeared's
Thread over in the Chat Arena with his score. I'm downloading the '06 3D Mark. Just wish I had a Bittorrent
Client , it would go much faster! Looking at 1hour 30min's left. * sigh * Chris.

"Bragging" about hardware 2
This is running all at stock speeds:
3DMark06 3994
This is 3DMark05 running 460 on the core and 1150 on the memory:
3DMark05 7823
Just to note this benchmark is setup with dual core CPU's in mind, so far in comparing to single core Intel CPU's and dual core Intel's the X2 destroys them wholesale. Hehehehehehe!!
I can hear the Darth Vader Theme song playing right now!!
By the way Sisko, the 7800GT OC that I have handles it fine, between 15 to 25FPS with a couple dips below 10. But at least not a slideshow, it a tough benchmark.

Burn it on CD then send it to me via sea mail, inclose in something that could float then address it to me......just put a label saying "for citoy".lol.

To damn little for OC, it's actually OC'ing the mem where you get most benefit. Are you having trouble OC'ing the memory?
