thanx Jomo....thats all at stock voltages too.

Damn...the 8800 is big!...it covers one of my sata ports!....I havent even installed any games
yet!....been havin fun with the cpu.

One thing with this board....anything over 2500mhz....I have to drop the DRAM command rate to 2T
not sure how much of a perf. loss that will be.

there is a utility gigabyte has called "Easy Tune"..but you have to click through the menus to see the temp, I was lookin for somethin that would maybe run in the taskbar....gonna check out "speed fan".

well I broke 3ghz with this opty tonite! 3007mhz.

ran SuperPi 1M test in 29sec.

3Dmark06....best score of 7,511

I wish it would run this speed in 1T command rate!

Alright folks, I have some new numbers...............

I have much more room to go, this was done with 1.3 volts, I think I can get away with 1.25 for my next runs.

I've only had a few hours today to play with this rig, so better numbers shouldn't be too far behind as in 3.6+

Running "normal" is 3ghz@1.19 volts@28c [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
