Bragging about hardware

Because Kilroy67, Mr. Chris and I started to 'brag' about our scores, I decided it might be fun to create a topic about 3DMark scores even though I'm in a disadvantage here with a Pentium 4 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img].

So tell your 3DMark03 and 3DMark05 and more important: mention your specs and if you overclock your clocksettings. All tests should be done with the default 3DMark03/05 settings so we can compare.

Kilroy, I decided to upgrade drivers, overclock the CPU a little more and shut down as many programs as possible to get a higher score than you [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I succeeded [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

So,
My 3DMark03 score is 11254
My 3DMark05 score is 4839

Both test are run on an Intel Pentium 4 northwood @ 3.2GHz (1066MHz FSB) with a stock leadtek 6800GT. For comparelinks, see my signature.

i didn't brag about my score. i don't even have 3dmark200? installed on my computer.

You and Chris really got me though on 3Dmark 03, it must be the CPU's you guys have and what 03 and 05 base the score upon. It seems 05 is a more video while 03 takes the CPU into factor more, Im not sure. It would be interesting to see what you get with your CPU at stock Sisko[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
We are all very close in 05, except Chris and his extra 100 points, must be that athlon64 he is sporting. Come on Chris, post some links for us to your scores, we want to see the proof[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

In 2005 Dogeared and I get over 6k, if that gives you an idea by our system specs.

O.K., Kilroy and crew, here we are:
3D Mark 2001SE = 20,934
3D Mark 2003 = 11,157
3D Mark 2005 = 4963

This is all at stock speeds , no o/c'ing.

Asian, I want to O/C this board and proc but not sure as to how ( I suppose if I read the manual I could learn,
but since you have previous knowledge, let's crank it UP!!!!!!). I'm going to try some o/c'ing this weekend,

P.S.: since I only have the free versions of the 3D Mark stuff, how is it that I can post my comparo's? C.

Just copy the furturemark compare URL into the http box on Via's reply window and give it a name. I dont know how Sisko got his to look the way it does in his Sig. I can paste the link in there but I couldnt figure out how he did it with his 3DMark score. Maybe he would be so kind to tell us unless he is to busy milking every last MHZ out of that Pentium4.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

In your previous post you created links of your 3DMark score, you can use the same tags to create links in your signature:
