AS I expected, 1 GB or RAM on a videocard is still completely useless. Where 512MB is necessary these days to run games in very high settings, there is nothing today that will even remotely come close to filling that 1GB or RAM.

Nevertheless, the 8800GT card are great! They cost very little for premium performance. FOr me, the difference in speed between my 8800GTS640 is too small to spend this amount of money on, but for people with a slower card, this seems like a bargain!
