Default EN15000: lm-sensors reports wrong CPU temperature?

Hi!

I've recently installed OpenSUSE 10.2 on my EN15000. Everything's working fine except that the sensors application outputs the following:

Code:
w83697hf-isa-0290
Adapter: ISA adapter
VCore: +0.94 V (min = +0.38 V, max = +0.14 V) ALARM
+3.3V: +3.30 V (min = +1.02 V, max = +2.29 V) ALARM
+5V: +5.05 V (min = +2.71 V, max = +2.10 V) ALARM
+12V: +12.28 V (min = +7.78 V, max = +0.97 V) ALARM
-12V: -14.50 V (min = -11.29 V, max = -1.50 V) ALARM
-5V: -7.46 V (min = +2.94 V, max = -3.49 V) ALARM
V5SB: +5.59 V (min = +0.05 V, max = +3.44 V) ALARM
VBat: +3.25 V (min = +0.70 V, max = +1.09 V) ALARM
fan1: 1687 RPM (min = 2636 RPM, div = 4) ALARM
fan2: 1713 RPM (min = 6490 RPM, div = 4) ALARM
temp1: +61°C (high = +80°C, hyst = +10°C) sensor = transistor
temp2: +11.5°C (high = +120°C, hyst = +115°C) sensor = diode
As you can see, sensors tell me that my CPU temperature is at 11.5°C... I'm quite sure that this value is absolutely wrong because in Windows, VIAs FliteDeck and Speedfan are telling me something about 60°C.

Is there anything I can fix? ;-)

Hi,

I'm using M10000, and also got some interesting values
Code:
root@whk1992-desktop:/home/whk1992# sensors
vt1211-isa-6000
Adapter: ISA adapter
+3.3V: +3.96 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +4.42 V)
+2.5V: +2.38 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +3.16 V)
VCore: +1.38 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +2.63 V)
+5V: +4.71 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +6.31 V)
+12V: +12.02 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +14.99 V)
+3.3V: +3.30 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +4.18 V)
Case Fan: 0 RPM (min = 0 RPM, div = 2)
CPU Fan: 0 RPM (min = 0 RPM, div = 2)
CPU Temp: +33.7°C (high = +190.1°C, hyst = -77.5°C)
Int Temp: +54.0°C (high = +204.0°C, hyst = +0.0°C)
cpu0_vid: +1.750 V
My CPU temperature currently(33.7C) should be correct. It just same as the value in speedfan
But the highest and lowest values is ridiculous!
Is it possible to have 190 degree Celcius?

Int Temp, the temperature of Northbridge, is also correct (54.0C) except the highest and lowest values.

(Fan speeds are 0RPM, it is correct coz' I haven't connect the speed sensors to my mainboard)

Hi, I have a EN1200 with also a w83697hf.

With BIOS v1.07, the temps seem to be correct (between 35 and 60°C), but after BIOS update to v1.09, they are no longer directly usable.
As you, I have temp1 around 80°C and temp2 around 18°C. And the BIOS menu to read temp values no longer exists...
Thanx VIA :-S

At least, if someone know the formula to convert the temperatures, just let me know... ;-)

Sam.
