I did not have problems with sound with my X-fi tough i was forced after applying the patch 1.2 to readjust the number of channels ,thing that i was doing in UT 2004 also for crisper and more complete sound.

Thats is probably due to the fact you have a Xtreme Music. It seems to be more specific to the cards that have the gimmick called XRAM. Initially I had a XFI Fatality with XRAM, UT3 crashed all the time after 5-10min. Once I got the XFI Xtreme Music, no such problems.

best i can tell my sound works right. its just half the gui's dont work. and again its media source original is still in the program and seen but it dont work anymore-- then you have media source5-- and media source dvd audio player.. the eq and eax consoles dont work or half the links on the go bar dont work either.. half the links from the volume control on your task bar dont work either. makes me want to toss it all out into the yard and stomp on it. and id gladly kick in the heads of them that did this stupid junk.

it was in the write up of the last drivers half this junk will not work anymore.. so why in the hell not. or why cant they delete all the old crap and have just media source 5 or some thing.. it is all sorts of words id like to use to describe such things. but what kind of half assed piss poor company would do such things. and then just leave all the broken chit in place to boot. its all in the way.you click on a wrong or broken gui it jams up your sound.i could never do such half assed junk and then put my name on it. they on purpose try and ruin a perfect nice product.

i never played much bf2 .for 1 you needed a fare computer and 2gigs of memory i got my 2gig kit maybe 6 months ago. and bf2 was always boring to me.. id run around on foot all game and maybe not shoot at anything..or when i ran out of bullets i could never find more.. but i did see some videos of a dude flying jet. i think id like to make some videos..but im not sure i want to put eagames junk on my computer at all. i protest eagames for its ignorant practices and junk quality games. i will never buy anything ea again. i had enough problems with bf2 and nfs stuff and bf1942. then you read of some star force type junk ruin your computer or in game ads or what ever..ea is the larget in the world.well they will get no more money from me.. not gsc or midway epic either..

1 can only imagine such companies do such things for a reason. sabotage its products or cant patch and fix stuff or they add star force or secure rom type junk to ruin our xp installs. well they just dont care. and or creative thinks if it ruins its older products you will buy its more new stuff. or ea thinks if it ruins your computer you will buy a console and then buy its games to use on it. well im not a idiot. i want nothing from either company again. i stopped playing ut04 because of the hackers and lying. ut3 is more junk then anything. and gsc stalker is the worst of the bunch.
