Grabbing a demo now.... Was a huge Q2 (some Q3) player under [LOL]Sirlagalot/{SYNC}SirLagalot

Been playing the demo and has stop since then, now i'm gonna start it all over again, hmm most likely tonight

The Demo is only the Valley map, there are 11 other maps in the full game. Demo servers also have "bots" to fill in instead of real players online.

But the Demo will give you a good feel of how the game plays, it can be very fast and very furious at times. On a server that has 12 people on each side, it gets very hectic to say the least.

Cas, that's not Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, that's Return to Castle Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. Can't help you there, I never played it that much. Too many cheaters. Chris.

Actually there are a lot less hackers, they all seem to have moved on to CoD4 and UT3 and Frontlines MP.

ET:QW never really did get to be that popular I think. A lot of folks find it really difficult to play, even tho there is another patch for the game to try and make it more easy to play.

I still play several hours a day. I have close to 800 hours of playing time, but I'm still only a General.

I play Strogg more often, there are certain maps that GDF just can't win, I like to win. Chris.

ya not winning is not always fun. i understand [win some loose some] but dang. i really like etqw. it is a lil hard at first. you really do not know how to complete missions etc. it was the cheating that makes me stand off..

it gave the game a odd feel. odd like dang i use a million bullets and cant hit the side of a barn. and dang them guys have such great aim and armor. and pop off 3 rounds and im dead..

some of these more new games. the guns have a odd feel too. not natural.. i mean ut04 had some space man guns but they felt natural and had good balance..ffow and prey has some odd feel guns too. q4 guns feel natural. etqw is a nice looking and quality game and plays well no problems.. dang cheaters ruin it.

think i will reinstall it soon

The 1.5 patch fixed a lot of issues and made the balance between Strogg and GDF a little better. But the game still has weird issues, the occassional things like getting shot thru a wall. Just glitches I think.

Played about 3 more hours last night, was having a blast. I love running Stroggs over with any vehicle I can. Makes a cool "squish" sound when you hit them. Think I'm addicted to this game. Sheesh. Chris.

its all good chris and i understand.. i was addicted to ut04 mp and stalker sp. i used to play mp ut04 about 17 hours a day for like 2 1/2 years and ive played stalker like 40x so.
