Default Need help with Envy24 Sound Card

I recently purchased an Envy24 Sound Card and it installed quickly and easily. Now, however, the sound either is too slow (lower pitch) or too fast (higher pitch). If I adjust the settings in the Audio Deck Control Panel, I can make it fluctuate between the two extremes, but I cannot get it to play normal. Here are the specs on my computer:

Compaq Presario
AMD Athlon XP 2600+
2.13 GHz, 256 MB RAM

The sound card shows up in device manager as:
Envy24 Family Audio Controller WDM

I would greatly appreciate any help on this issue! Thanks!

Jeremy Combs

You running XP with Service Pack 2? And only 256Mb of RAM? Serious? I would have at least 1Gb of RAM in that board. Should smooth things out, as the sound card is probably fighting for resources. Chris.
